Support IHS basketball on Senior Night with Italy taking on arch rival Itasca

Italy — Calling all Gladiator and Lady Gladiator basketball fans! Italy celebrates Senior Night inside the Italy Coliseum dome against their long-time rivals the Itasca Wampus Cats Tuesday, February 5, starting at 5:00 p.m. with the JV boys squad tipping off at center court.
The senior presentation will follow the JV boys contest at approximately 6:00 p.m. All senior basketball athletes will be honored at this time. The Lady Gladiators will take on the Lady Cats immediately after the presentation, around 6:15 p.m.
The Gladiators, who defeated Itasca in their previous matchup this season, will take on the revengeful Wampus Cats starting around 8:00 p.m.
During halftime of the varsity boys game, everyone who purchases a tortilla(s) for $1.00 each will have an opportunity to toss their supply of tortillas from the dome’s upper deck in hopes of making one into an open trash can. A swish shot, or the closest tortilla to the trash can, will receive a cash prize.
The previous tortilla tossing champion was IHS senior Zackery Boykin who won $20.00!
The tortilla toss benefits the Lady Gladiator Softball team who will have their season opener at home on Monday, February 11 against Hubbard.
