The upcoming local elections are scheduled for Saturday, May 11, 2013. There are three school board seats, two city council seats, the office of the Mayor of Italy as well as an Ellis County Emergency Service District #3 election all to be decided that day.

City of Italy Elections:

  • currently held by Greg Richards and Rodney Guthrie
• and Mayor

• Application deadline is March 1, 2013 – 5:00pm

Italy ISD Elections:

• 3 School Board seats
  • currently held by Larry Eubank, Curtis Riddle and Jon Mathers
• Packets are available now at the Italy ISD Administration Office (300 S. College Street, Italy)
• Application deadline is March 1, 2013 – 5:00pm

Ellis County Emergency Service District #3

• proposed tax rate increase

The election will be held at the Italy Boze Community Center (161 W. Main Street, Italy) on Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 7am to 7pm.
