Louis “Lou” Eugene Martina, age 84, of Italy passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 in the company of family and friends. He was born June 10, 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Dorothy C. and Louis C. Martina. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1949 to 1952. Lou worked for the City of Italy for 10 years and also helped keep the city beautiful by picking up trash.

He enjoyed wood carving and loved to hunt.

Lou was a man of faith and a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Survivors include his wife, Louise; four sons, Michael E., James S., Gregory W. and Brian K. and two daughters, Marsha G. and Sherry L.; two brothers, Joseph A. and Robert C. and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lou was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Louis; his first wife, Betty and sister, Helen.

A memorial service will be held at 6 PM Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy.
