The Italy JH girls track team competed in the Grandview Zebra Relays on Monday, March 18. With an outstanding attitude and will to perform at their best, many girls walked away with ribbons. Please congratulate these young ladies, if you can catch up to them, when you see them on all their accomplishments!

Shot Put — 7th Grade:

  • 3rd Place – Jenna Holden – 24’ 7"
  • 8th Place – Brycelen Richards – 22’ 8"

Discus — 8th Grade:

  • 6th Place – Vanessa Cantu – 54’ 10"

100m Dash — 7th Grade:

  • Heat 1 – 1st Place – T’Keyah Pace – 14.54
  • Heat 2 – 2nd Place – Emily Cunningham – 15.54

100m Dash — 8th Grade:

  • Heat 1 – 1st Place – April Lusk – 13.18

200m Dash — 7th Grade:

  • Heat 1 – 2nd Place – T’Keyah Pace – 29.0
  • Heat 2 – 2nd Place – Emily Cunningham – 31.0
  • Heat 3 – 6th Place – Marlen Hernandez – 36.75

200m Dash — 8th Grade:

  • Heat 1 – 2nd Place – April Lusk – 28.4
  • Heat 2 – 7th Place – Vanessa Cantu – 35.89

The Lady Gladiators will compete next at the Itasca JH Relays on Monday, March 25.
