Results and images from the Italy Junior High’s district track meet that was held on April 8. The future of Italy athletics looks good indeed. Track and field performances are used as a gage to predict the quality of a sports program for the following school year. Therefore, 2013-2014 should be another exciting year Italy’s Junior High and junior varsity teams.

“I am so proud of how the boys responded to the challenge of their competition. For the first time this year, they ran against schools their size and had great success! All of our relay teams competed and had nearly flawless hand-offs! Here are the results for the 7th and 8th grade teams,” relayed track coach Nate Skelton.
