Regional Tennis Tournament:
Italy Tennis coach Melissa Fullmer would like to congratulate Cole Hopkins (Sr.) and Zain Byers (Jr.) on winning boys doubles at the district tournament this past Monday. Fullmer has also announced that Hopkins and Byers will be representing Italy High School at the Regional Tennis Tournament in Abilene beginning Wednesday, April 17. Boys doubles matches are scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Abilene Christian University is hosting the two-day tournament and matches are being played at the Rose Park Tennis Center.

State Tennis Tournament:
If Hopkins and Byers survive their regional test, the duo would travel to Texas A&M University in Bryan for a chance to win the Tennis State Tournament. The state tennis schedule is below:
