Lady Gladiators defeat Gorman in two games to claim Area Championship
A masterpiece by artistic Italy Lady Gladiator pitcher, Jaclynn Lewis, entitled, “Swing-and-a-miss,” features her catcher, Alyssa Richards, making the grab for a strike. This work was on display Friday during Lewis’s latest exhibition in Weatherford where the image was originally created. Lewis and her teammates captured an Area Championship win by defeating the Gorman Lady Panthers in two frames, 11-1 and 16-4. (Barry Byers)
