Obituary: Deborah G. Johnson, 1952- 2013

Deborah G. Johnson, age 61, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away May 16, 2013. She was born September 2, 1952 in Waxahachie to the late Moses and Ola Mae Cofer.

Deborah graduated from Italy High School in 1970. She was known as loyal, loving, and hard-working by all.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Warren Johnson of Jacksonville, AR; Daughters LaKeisha Melvin (Conlee) and Tanasia Johnson-Kamal(Afif). Sons Michael Pinkard (Nancy), Royce Pinkard (Tawanna), Warren Johnson, Jr. (Candace), and Warren K. Johnson. 15 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Sisters, Beverly Brown, Joslin Cofer, Darlene Norris (Johnny), Sallie Cofer, Benita Cofer; Brothers, Samuel Cofer(Marilyn), Roderic Cofer; Brother-in-law, Bryant Johnson, Sr.; host of nieces, nephews, special friends, and special adopted children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Willie Jean Nickerson and her brother-in-law Edward Brown.

The family will receive friends from 6-7:30pm Friday, May 24 at Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home in N. Little Rock.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1pm, May 25, 2013 at the funeral home chapel.
