The Italy School Board of Trustees hired three teachers/coaches at a special meeting Monday evening.

Following an hour-long executive session, trustees reconvened and unanimously hired three teachers – Charles Tindol, social studies teacher, football offensive coordinator and basketball coach; Bobby Campbell, elementary physical education teacher, football coach; and Sue Menosa, special education teacher.

Tindol comes to Italy from Iola where he coached two years. He grew up in Coahoma, Texas, and played football on a full scholarship at Abilene Christian University. He also coached at Abilene Christian High School as head football and track coach. He has also coached at Early High School and at Big Lake in Reagan County.

Campbell, according to Hank Hollywood, athletic director, is from Itasca. Hollywood said he has watched Campbell interact with his athletes at track meets and said he is impressed with what he has seen.

Stafford Elementary Principal Jonathan Nash recommended Menosa, who he taught with at Lancaster.
