In the early hours of Wednesday morning, July the 3rd, God brought home one of His most cherished and beloved creations, Jill Kesterson Kordsmeier. Jill was born on September 24, 1965, in Borger, Texas, to Joe and Kay Kesterson. Raised in Borger, Jill exceeded at just about everything imaginable, excluding athletic endeavors.

Jill married John Sursa and had three beautiful children, Kalee, John David and Trevor. They later completed their family with the addition of Claire and Cooper. She later met the man of her dreams while doing what she did best—caring for others. Jill and Rick Kordsmeier married December 13, 2003.

Her family will carry on her legacy by pursuing her love for life. They will cherish the memories of her love and laughter.

Survivors include her devoted husband, Rick; children Kalee and Lance, John David, Trevor and Danielle, Jessica, Richie, Claire and Cooper. She was Gigi to grandchildren Jacob, Grayson, Kaydi Jo, Hudson, Sarah, Madison, Thomas, Leyla, and another on the way. She is also survived by three loving sisters, Amy and Gene Lowrey, Lizzie Kesterson, and Erin and Russ Dauer, and her beautiful mother, Kay Kesterson of Amarillo. She is preceded in death by her father, Joe Kesterson.

A memorial service to celebrate Jill’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the Avenue Church, Waxahachie, Texas.
