Italy ISD superintendent Barry Bassett explains how Speed Hamby once commented, “What do I have to do to get a bobblehead?” Well, with his retirement, Hamby was presented two bobblehead dolls. A Tiger for all his hard work at Stafford Elementary and a Gladiator for his efforts at Italy High School as the district’s maintenance supervisor. (Barry Byers)
