This little shop in Milford is so inviting. When you walk in the door you go back in time. There is soft, beautiful music from the big band era softly playing and antiques that catch your eye and take your breath away. It is properly named, Things Beautiful.

Freeda Arnold and Raymond Mosley are the proprietors of Things Beautiful. They celebrated their grand opening Saturday, September 14th. Mosley said, " We have been working for over a month getting the store ready. Freeda and I both have been wanting to open up an antique store and here we are living a dream . We heard other businesses were coming and we wanted to add ours to the town to help Milford grow."

There are some many beautiful items for sale thoughtfully placed throughout the store. Antique furniture, tv’s, pictures, dishes, lamps, you name it they have it. And if they don’t Mosley said, “If you are looking for a special item and we don’t have it just let us know and we will look for it and get it for you.”

Freeda Arnold said, “We named it Things Beautiful because that is how I look at things. We are able to preserve history, we take imperfect items clean them up and find a good home for them.”

The store is located on main street downtown Milford.
Store hours are Wednesday thru Saturday – 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
