The little ‘Angels’ in Milford need your help at Christmas
I don’t know a child that is not excited about Christmas and all that goes with it.They can’t wait to get up Christmas morning and see what Santa has left under the tree. But not all children are lucky enough to have something waiting for them under the tree. The Milford Titus Women’s Club are trying to make sure that every child in Milford will wake up Christmas morning and find a present.
Jeanne Richardson (president of Milford Titus Women) said, “Angels are being adopted really slow this year and I am a little concerned that not everyone will have a gift. But I do know that God always works it out.”
Maxine Morris (club member) said, “We usually have a Christian motorcycle club that helps us out with toys for the children but they can not help as much this year as they usually do. We really need the help of the community to help us out with gifts this year for the ‘Angels’.”
The “Angel Tree” is at Milford City Hall which is located at 100 S. Main Street in Milford. You may get your ‘Angel’ off of the “Angel Tree” during City Hall hours which are: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday.
The Titus Women have asked that the unwrapped gifts be turned into City Hall no later than December 16th. They will be putting all of them together on the 19th of December and will be handing out the gifts on the 20th and 21st of December.
So come on out to Milford and take an ‘Angel’ off the tree and help to make a child’s Christmas bright this year!
