Italy — Here are the results form the Italy Junior High boys Basketball Tournament hosted in Italy inside the Coliseum on Saturday, January 18. Coaches Wayne Rowe, Jon Cady and Charles Tindol and have their teams playing better and better.

Against Scurry, Italy’s Cade Brewer scored 6-points, Ryder Itson put in 4-points, Jonathan Salas scored 2-points and Alex Garcia dropped in 1-out of-2 free-throws.


8th GRADE GAMES:

Against Hubbard, Italy’s Gary Escamilla led the Italy 8th grade boys effort with 10-points. Kyle Tindol scored 9-points and Anthony Lusk, Jr., scored 1-point. Kendrick Norwood scored 8-points and Jaylon Lusk scored 8-points as well. Cade Roberts and Clay Riddle anchored the defense and had assists on offense.

Kyle Tindol scored 8-points and Kendrick Norwood scored 8-points to lead Italy to a tournament championship win over Scurry. Gary Escamilla pitched in with a 3-pointer, Cade Roberts scored 2-points and Anthony Lusk, Jr. scored 2-points as well.
