Marty Haight, 53 of Italy, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014 in Waxahachie. He was born January 22, 1961 in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Marty was raised in Lancaster but had deep roots in Italy and Ellis County. He was a pioneer and quickly became successful as the owner and founder of Roofing and Restoration Services of America.

He had a love for life, family, friends and the outdoors. He loved to spend his time hunting and fishing. He wanted to introduce anyone he could to the sport of hunting.

As Marty’s business expanded Nationwide, so did his circle of friends who cared for him deeply. Marty leaves behind a multitude of friends and family that will miss him greatly and always continually love him.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Lea Haight of Italy; his children, Jenny Haight Seymore and her husband, Jon of Waxahachie, Ryan Haight and his wife, Ashley of Lakeville, Minnesota, Dylan Jay, Amanda Grace and Hannah Kaylea of Italy; his grandboys, Lucas and Braxton Seymore; his grandgirls, Brooklynn and Madelynn Haight; his parents, Chuck and Shirley Haight of Crowley; his siblings, Kathy Haight of Italy, JD Haight of Wilmer-Hutchins, Donny Haight and his wife, Penny of Grandbury; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandboy, Logan Seymore.

Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday April 4, 2014 at the Waxahachie Civic Center. A private graveside service will follow.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.

Everyone is invited to stay at the Civic Center for a reception with the family after they return from the cemetery.
