Martina Quintanilla, 1940 — 2014

Martina Quintanilla, age 74, passed away Saturday morning with her family by her side on May 24, 2014 at home. She was born on January 10, 1940 in Normanna, Texas to Eugenio and Dominga (Espinoza) Zapata

Martina is survived by her husband, Ambrosio, Jr. of Italy; two daughters, Venita Hamilton and husband Matthew of Italy and Anita Klein of Waxahachie; six grandchildren, Matthew Klein and wife Valorie, Cassandra Quintanilla, Preston Swain, Laura Loggains and husband Derek, Allison Klein and Samuel Hamilton; one great grandson Levi Knight; 2 sisters, Maria Gonzalez and Josephine Garcia of Waxahachie; 4 brothers, Natalio Zapata of Rice, Rudolfo Zapata of Avalon, Juan Zapata of Ennis and Onesimo Zapata of Waxahachie.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugenio and Dominga Zapata; 2 sisters, Felicia DelBosque and Elogia Trevino.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, May 26, 2014 with a rosary at 7 PM at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Waxahachie.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Martin Moreno officiating. Interment will follow at Waxahachie City Cemetery.
