IYAA T-Ball Gladiators continue to grow during postseason play in Hillsboro

Hillsboro — The Italy Youth Athletic Association’s T-Ball Boys gained valuable playoff experience at such an early stage in their careers by advancing to the district tournament held in nearby Hillsboro.

The T-Ball Gladiators finished 2nd within their division during the regular season, qualifying them for the next round and two bonus games. Although Italy was unable to advance to State in the T-Ball Boys division, they proved they could: kick sand up as good as anybody, hit the ball hard and take a hit, relentlessly hustle to the ball, cheer loud and proud and showed they would never, ever, give up! All qualities of a champion.
