Johnnie Green Morgan was born in rural Ellis County at Hamrock on November 15, 1919 to Thomas B. Green and Willie Joy Darby Green. She passed away on July 18, 2014 at the age of 94 in Waxahachie.

She accepted Christ as her savior at the age of 15 and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Italy since 1991. She married Everett Welton Morgan on July 13, 1940. She loved her family and friends and was always proud to be a Green and happy to marry into the Morgan family.

She is survived by sons, Lynn and Pam Morgan of Irving and Dwayne and Angie Morgan of Malakoff; sisters, Dorothy Byrd of Sacramento, California and Lessie Callahan of San Antonio; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Everett Morgan; two sisters and four brothers.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6PM to 8PM Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy.

Funeral service will be 11AM Thursday, July 24, 2014 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy. Interment will follow at the Italy Cemetery.
