“The floor tile project is complete at both campuses,” Chambers reported. “The dome floor is also complete. The exterior of the dome has been painted and Monolithic is scheduled to install new gutters soon.”
Chambers also said that summer cleaning is moving along well and his crew is doing a great job. The football field wood fence has been replaced with new metal fence. He also said that in addition to the new tile floors, the Junior High wing has been painted.
The board also approved a resolution recognizing the Ellis County Texas 4-H Organization as eligible for extracurricular status consideration.
They also approved an Adjunct Faculty Agreement with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Ellis County, a yearly requirement.
The trustees discussed the Student Handbook, Student Code of Conduct and Employee Handbook. The handbook states that E-cigarettes will not be allowed on either campus.
