Billie “Bill” D. Whiteaker 85, formerly of Fort Worth, passed away in Lewisville on Friday October 31, 2014.

Bill was born in Penelope, Texas on May 15, 1929 to the late Perry and LaFaun ( Tyme) Whiteaker. Bill proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. On March 19, 1958 he married Bobbie G. Gentry and they shared over 56 years together before her passing.

Bill is survived by his cousin, Jack and wife Mary Graves; son, Kenneth Phillips; grandson, Chris and wife Amanda Phillips; step granddaughter, Charlene Barrier; great granddaughter, Delia Phillips; daughter in law, Patty Phillips; sister in law, Mildred and husband John Gentry-Letkiewicz; nephews, George Lumpkin and Danny Gentry; niece, Carroll Will.

Along with Bill’s parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife Bobbie G. Whiteaker.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Italy Cemetery.
