Alex plans to attend the University of North Texas to study Psychology.

Personal/Scholastic Accomplishments:
Alex enjoyed advancing to Area Finals in Marching Band and placing 3rd at State in the Honor Band Competition. Alex also earned 1st chair mallet player in the Cen-Tex Band three consecutive years. In her spare time, Alex has taught herself to play bass guitar, tenor drums, and piano and has composed some musical pieces as well as has written 20+ short stories.

Influential Person:
Alex’s mother has been the most influential person in her life; her mom has raised both Alex and her younger sister with no support, and Alex says she stays true to herself despite the challenges she’s faced.
