Waco, TX — The Heart of Texas Fellowship of Christian Athletes announced has selected senior Gladiator football player Kyle Fortenberry to participate in their 7th Annual 2015 All-Star Victory Bowl to be held at Waco ISD Stadium on June 13. KICK OFF will be at 6:30 p.m.

Fortenberry was a three-year varsity member of the Italy Gladiator Football team and was a reliable and accurate shotgun snapper and deep snapper on punts and on field goal attempts. Fortenberry was also used as a linebacker on defense.

He was a key member of Italy’s 2012 Semi-Finalists team which went undefeated in district play, as well as, being the full-time center for Italy’s 2013 undefeated district championship team which was an Area Finalist in the playoffs. Fortenberry again anchored Italy’s offensive line in 2014 earning 1st Team All-District Center and 2nd Team All-District Linebacker in 2A-2 Region III District 10.

Fortenberry will follow the path of past Gladiator greats to compete in FCA Victory Bowl including: Jasenio Anderson, Ryheem Walker, Larry Mayberry, Jr., little brother Darol Mayberry and TaMarcus Sheppard.
