Paul Oran Wimer lost is fight against cancer, Sunday, February 8, 2015.

He was a very courageous man in life, and fought cancer the same way.

Paul worked for the Dallas Police Department for 22 years, retired and went to work for the Dallas District Attorney’s Office, 16 1/2 years. He had a stellar work ethic.

Paul was a friend you called if you needed help. He always showed up with a smile and very dry wit.

Proceeded him in death was his father, Paul Oral Wimer and his mother Mayful Wimer.

Paul is survived by his wife Deborah Wimer of Italy, Texas. His daughter Melissa and her husband Greg Cox and their two children Carsyn and Addisyn of Hillsboro, Texas. His sister Gean and her husband Dennis Fisher of Shreveport, Louisiana.

There will be a celebration of Paul’s life on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Central Baptist Church located at 113 S. Ward Street from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
