The Relay For Life of Central Ellis County held a Team Captain’s meeting on March 19, 2015. The traveling trophy is awarded to the team that turns in the most money each month. The winner for March was the Dart team with $2.997.

To date there are 23 teams signed up with 170 members that have raised $13,359.51. The teams are working very hard to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

During the meeting, Mary Ruth Mitchell won two nights at the Comfort Inn in Waxahachie.

The Relay For Life of Central Ellis County will be held at the Waxahachie Sports Complex on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to midnight.
