Members of the Lady Gladiators track team competed at the Texas Relays this past weekend in Austin. The girls competed in the High School Division 1 Group that included schools from 1A to 4A. Halee Turner competed in the 100 meter hurdles. Kortnei Johnson won the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.66. The sprint relay team that consisted of April Lusk, Janae Robertson, T’Keyah Pace and Kortnei Johnson finished 6th out of 54 schools. Italy was the only small school team to qualify for the finals. The girls ran a season best time of 49.32. Congratulations to the girls on a very good weekend!
