Relay For Life of Central Ellis County would like to thank the companies that are supporting their efforts to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The corporate sponsors play a major role in Relay every year.

The American Cancer Society would like to thank the following companies and encourage the community to support them:

Ark Country Store
Baylor Scott & White Hospital
Campuzano’s Mexican Restaurant
The Cowboy Bank of Texas
HEB
Landmark Equipment
Pearman Oil
Roach Waste
Solar Turbines
Texas Name Plate
The Greenery
Victron Energy
Vintage Bank

“A simple thank you could never express the gratitude that our Relay For Life of Central Ellis County Committee and team members has for our corporate sponsors,” said Mary Ruth Mitchell, Corporate Sponsor Chair. “Many of our sponsors have been dedicated supporters since Relay was established in Ellis County eighteen years ago.”

“In 1997 Patty and Joe Chagnon had a passionate desire to do their part to assist The American Cancer Society raise funds for cancer research. Patty remained Event Chair for the first ten years and was very successful in getting the local Relay For Life established. She and the Corporate Sponsor Chairs diligently called on merchants and individuals in our local communities to solicit their support of this very worthwhile cause – finding a cure for cancer,” Mitchell added.

Mitchell said that for the thousands of dollars that the sponsors have donated through the years, Relay would like to say a big thank you.

If there are others who would like to become a 2015 Corporate Sponsor, there is still time. The final cut off date to donate and have your company name and logo printed on the back of the Relay tee shirts is May 1, 2015.
