Amy Michele Benoit, 44, of Beaumont, passed from this life Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Beaumont Healthcare Center. She was born on September 8, 1970, in Waxahachie.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Benoit; daughters, Charlotte R. Benoit, Colleen M. Benoit, and Chloe J. Benoit; parents, Karen and Brian Mathiowetz of Waxahachie; brothers, Johnny Higdon of Grapevine and Carson Hufstetler of Sylvester, Georgia; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Marie and Michael Monk; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ron and Misti Benoit; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Rosalee Green; grandparents, Clara and Mike Maida; and adoptive mother and father, JoAnn and Gene Higdon.

A gathering of Mrs. Benoit’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 23, 2015, at Cathedral In the Pines, 2350 Eastex Freeway, Beaumont, with her interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
