Evie Marie Herrin Cohagan, age 87, went to be with the Lord, Monday, August 31, 2015 at Settlers Ridge Nursing Home in Celina, Texas.

Marie was born September 21, 1927 in Frost, Texas. Her parents were Earnest and Jewel (Brewer) Herrin. She married the love of her life, Don Cohagan on July 27, 1945 in Italy, Texas.

Marie worked all of her life to provide for her family as a Seamstress and later as a beautician in her own shop.

One son, Richard Cohagan and wife Cheyrl of Gunter, Tex, daughter-in-law, Julie Burrow of Odessa, Texas and Grandchildren Shellye Gressett, Jill Bortzfield, Kate Hall, and Carmen Cohagan, survive Mrs. Cohagan.

Her husband, Don Cohagan, Son Ronnie Cohagan, parents, two brothers Paul Herrin and Harold Herrin and sister Melba Strength, preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Friday, September 4, 2015 at Italy Cemetery with Pastor Ronnie Dabney officiating.

Services are under the director of Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Waxahachie, Texas.
