Ivy Ruth Sevier Moore, age 86, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 18, 2016 at the Trinity Mission Nursing Home in Italy. Ivy Ruth was born May 22, 1929 in Milford to Rogers and Evie Sevier. She is the youngest of 2 girls. She grew up in the country side of Milford and went to Iverson School as a young girl and graduated from Milford High School in 1946.

Ivy Ruth married Bob Tomerlin in 1956 having one daughter, Lavonne in 1962. Moving then to Italy in 1966 where she lived the remainder of her life. In later years she married her childhood sweetheart.

She married Don Moore in 1982 and was married for 32 years until they each had a stroke in 2014 within 2 weeks of each other put them both in the same room at Trinity Mission until his death later that year. Ivy Ruth retired from Army and Air Force Exchange Service in 1995. She loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. She was a faithful member of the Italy Church of Christ.

Ivy Ruth is survived by her daughter, Lavonne Brock and husband Bobby of Italy. Sister, Geneva Rosemond of Italy. Niece, Linda Mosley and husband Wilford and Nephew, Darrell Rosemond and wife Donna all of Italy. Great Niece, Pam Mosley and Great Nephew, Raymond Mosley both of Italy and many other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rogers and Evie Sevier and Husband, Don Moore.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6 to 8 PM Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy.

Funeral service will be 3 PM Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel with Mr. Walter Buchanan officiating. Interment will be at Milford Cemetery.
