Helen Fielder, 81, passed away on July 27, 2016 in Waxahachie. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie. Interment will directly follow at Italy Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Helen was born on April 17, 1935 to UV and Edith Carman in Midland, Texas. She worked at Stafford Elementary in Italy for many years where the kids there all knew her as “Grandma”.

Helen was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Leo Bill Wilcoxson; brother, Bobby Carman; grandson, Keith Shinpaugh; and grandmother, Sarah Carson.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth Wilcoxson and his wife, Marilyn, Donna Rosemond and her husband, Darrell, Connie Shinpaugh and her husband, Rick, and Kelly Durney and her husband, Rob; siblings, Charles Carman, Dale Carman, Wanda New, Laverne Rosco, Ed Carman, Sharon Bannister and Cindy Westfall; grandchildren, Marianne, Alissa, Jason, Dustin, Delania, Deanne, Chris, Mandy, Shannon, Lindsey and Kelsey; 23 great grandchildren; and her special friend, whom she worked at Stafford Elementary School with, Joe Tovar.
