Waxahachie — In a battle to decide the 9U girls coach-pitch softball championship, Italy and Waxahachie played one for the ages with Waxahachie scoring the max 6 runs allowed during their final at bat to get the comeback win. Hats off to Italy’s coaches and players who showed buckets of skills and a mitts full of heart to finish the regular season as division runner-ups. Good luck in the playoffs!
