Italy Football players receive State semifinal medals during athletic banquet

Italy — The 2013 Italy Athletic Banquet was a special night for every IHS student-athlete but perhaps it was extra special for those closely associated with Gladiator Football when AD/HFC Hank Hollywood presented his players, staff, managers, statisticians and videographer with State semifinalist medals.

“We kept the medals a secret since December but I’m glad we were able to recognize everyone involved during a public setting such as the banquet,” explained Coach Hollywood. “The kids deserved the recognition. Making it to the final four is something to be proud of.”

It was a memorable season indeed, capped off by a special moment during the banquet as those involved with the team’s success were announced to receive their medals and share the moment with their families and supporters.
