Italy — Enjoy additional images from the game between Italy Lady Gladiators and the Grand Prairie Advantage Academy Lady Eagles in which Italy pummeled the visiting Lady Eagles 13-0.
The starting lineup for Italy was catcher Alyssa Richards, pitcher Jaclynn Lewis, first baseman Katie Byers, second baseman Bailey Eubank, shortstop Madison Washington, third base Paige Westbrook, left field Tara Wallis, centerfield Kelsey Nelson and right field Morgan Cockerham.
Also seeing a bit of left field action was Cassidy Childers, while fellow freshmen K’Breona Davis, Britney Chambers, Lillie Perry, Ashlyn Jacinto and Hannah Washington could be seen running around the bases as a pinch hitter or a pinch runner.
All-in-all, it was a solid victory for Italy who improves to 8-0 in district play with a rematch against Avalon today, Tuesday, April 9, starting at 5:30 p.m. in a home game for the Lady Gladiators.
