Scurry Rosser — Enjoy additional images of the Italy Lady Gladiators competing in the Scurry softball tournament held on Friday, February 22 and Saturday, February 23. A 5 game grind that left Italy and head coach Wayne Rowe feeling pretty good about themselves after playing at a very high level.

The Lady Gladiators’ district opener will be Tuesday, February 26 in Itasca. Game time is 4:30pm.

Sophomore pitcher Jaclynn Lewis made it look easy throughout the tournament striking out one batter after another. Despite being ill on Saturday, Lewis toughed it out to lead Italy to a 9-0 win over Terrell and then gave the Lady Gladiators a chance during a 3-2 loss in the finale against 2A Scurry.
