Spirits were high Friday night, September 19 at Milford ISD’s Homecoming game. Everyone was excited and ready to win and the hometown did, Milford 46 and Jonesboro 0.

The football players were not the only ones excited about winning. The nominees for Football Sweetheart, Football Beau, Homecoming Queen and Homecoming King were also ready to win.

The Football Sweetheart nominees were: Tapley Strange, Laura (Kay-K) Harvey, Ra’Tara Singleton and Genora Armstrong.
The Football Beau nominees were: Derek Williamson, Jamie Johnson, Adrian (Dew) Pendleton and DeMarcus McGruder.

And the winners were: Genora Armstrong and Derek Williamson.

The Homecoming Queen nominees were: Jalessa Hightower, Laura (Kay-K) Harvey, Chasity Waits, and Desiree Singleton.
The Homecoming King nominees were: Adonas Hightower, Jamie Johnson, Adrian (Dew) Pendleton and Derik Williamson.

And the winners were: Desiree Singleton and Derek Williamson.

All in all the Homecoming night at at Milford ISD was a win – win celebration.
