IYAA worked their Gladiator magic in Scurry

The three teams of IYAA lined up once again and fought hard, this time against the Scurry Wildcats on Saturday. Italy “C” team, consisting of K, 1st and 2nd graders, lead 20-0 at halftime. The young Gladiators changed the team around and changed things in the course in the second half. The final score was 31-19 with Italy putting another notch in their belt. Their overall record is 3-0.

Italy “B” team consisting of 3rd and 4th graders fought the fight on Saturday. Scurry managed to break away from the Gladiator defense. Italy’s offense was unable to skirt the Scurry Wildcats. Final score was 26-6, which makes the B-Team Gladiators experienced their first loss of the season. Their overall record is now 2-1.

Italy “A” team is made up of 5th and 6th graders. The A-Team Gladiators felt better about their performance this week as the offense managed to move the ball against Scurry defense. THe Wildcats stopped the Gladiator defense and grabbed an early lead. The final score was 18-0 bringing the A-Team’s overall record to 0-3.
