Milly will be two years old on October 29. She is a beautiful female Boxer. Her owner could not care for her any longer. She is in need of a loving, permanent home. She is a sweet dog, very shy at first, but once she gets to know you she is your number one supporter. She is nervous around men but she is fine with kids and other pets.

I did a little research on Boxers and this is what I found out. The Boxer is happy, high spirited, playful, curious and energetic. Highly intelligent, eager and quick to learn, but can be stubborn and sneaky. The Boxer is a good dog for competitive obedience. Constantly on the move, bonding very closely with the family. They are loyal and affectionate and are known for the way they get along so well with children. A well brought up and properly socialized Boxer will also get along with his own kind and other household pets.

Stanley is a one year old adorable, male Corgi mix. He loves to rest in his bed, He does like to play but he really likes his bed. He has a great personality, a little nervous at first but then he wants to be in your lap and be loved. Stanley was featured a couple of weeks ago, but now time is of the essence. He needs to be adopted soon. He is on the endangered list.

Right now Stanley and Milly reside at the Corsicana Animal Shelter. They would love to have a real home.

The adoption fee is $55. This covers shots, deworming, the microchip, and heart worm testing if they are old enough, feline leukemia (FeLV) and feline “aids” (FIV) testing if they are old enough. When you adopt a pet from Corsicana Animal Shelter you agree to get your pet spayed or neutered after they are six months old. If you adopt a dog or cat that is older than six months you have thirty days to get them spayed or neutered.
