IHS 9th grade has fundraiser
Homecoming in Italy is October 24 and not only is it a time for tradition, alumni, crowns and bragging rights, it is a time for fundraising — and is this a good one. Think Christmas gift.
The Dallas Cowboys have famous names. Ones you might recognize are Tony Romo and Marion Barber. How about Keith Davis? Hometown boy done well.
Well, the Class of 2012 have in their possession one football with 27 Cowboys’ names. They are raising money for prom and their senior trip. For only $2 per ticket, you could buy a chance to win this prized ball. Already encased in glass, this special football will be presented by Keith Davis himself, after the crowning of the Italy High School Homecoming Queen on October 24 during halftime.
Ms. Vivian Moreland, freshman English teacher, said, “I talked to him (Keith) personally and he will personally hand the football to the winner.”
To purchase one of the special tickets, contact any freshman or email Ms. Vivian Moreland at [email protected]
