During Italy’s Homecoming on Friday night, there were a lot of activities. Alumni were home for the evening and enjoyed the camaraderie of old and new friends. The Italy Athletic Booster Club was also right in the hub of the fun. After greeting Italy students of all ages, they invited the alumni to form a victory line for the current Gladiator football players.

Keith Davis, current Dallas Cowboy and IHS alumni, was escorted to the field and he drew the winning name for the autographed football. CB&I class won the football with 27 current Cowboys’ names. Encased in glass, Davis presented the special trophy to the class at halftime.

Also, during halftime, the Booster Club gave a wonderful handmade quilt to Lori Leffingwell, a previous IHS student and Italy resident. This quilt was donated for the fundraiser by Lanelle Riddle, who owns Lanelle’s Tee Shirt Quilts. For more information about her quilts, please email at [email protected].
