Stafford Elementary School will be participating in the “Bring A Vet to School” Day on November 11, 2008. We are encouraging the children invite a veteran to share our day with us.

We will have an assembly at 9 a.m. to honor the veterans and each veteran will be introduced by the student who brought them. The veterans may wear their uniforms, medals, or bring other memorabilia to show the students in their child’s classroom. Each class/grade level will chose an activity to present at the assembly honoring our veterans who have paid such a price to keep our country and our freedom safe.
