Italy shows grit against third ranked Itasca
Veterans Honored — The FFA and Veteran Ronnie Compton raise the colors before the game. Mr. Compton graduated from IHS in 1968 where he played for the Gladiators. He served in Vietnam from 1969-1970 with United States Marine Corp. David Henderson, Jr. graduated from IHS in 1967 also played for the Gladiators. After serving in Vietnam for only 30 days, he was killed in the Quang Nam Province in Vietnam in the line of duty on Nov. 4, 1968 at the age of 20. (Anne Sutherland)
