Christmas songs could be heard as you entered the front door of Trinity Mission Tuesday morning. The beautiful singing was coming from the Stafford Elementary Kindergarten classes that came to entertain the residents.

They put on a great performance singing songs such as: “We Are Going On a Sleigh Ride”, “Feliz Navidad”, “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” and many more of the old favorites.

Carolyn Powell (Activities director) said, “Merry Christmas from Trinity Mission of Italy and Stafford Elementary Kindergarten, the residents love the students and their singing has started the Christmas spirit flowing here.”

The residents were busy singing along and enjoying the smiling children.

“They are just precious, it is amazing that they can learn all of these Christmas songs, they must have very good teachers,” stated Becky Horn (resident).

Edith Baker, another resident said, “I am so glad that it is nearly Christmas, which is Christ’s birthday, I am so glad the children could come and sing, we just enjoy them so very, very much.”

“I think the kids are wonderful, it gives us something to be happy about.” said Miss Presley (resident).

Felicia Massey (Kindergarten teacher) summed it up when she said, “ We come here every year to sing our Christmas songs at the nursing home, the kids enjoy it, the residents enjoy it. It is just a fun celebration for everyone.”

Thank you Stafford Elementary!
