Stafford Elementary is participating in the “Read to Succeed” program sponsored by Six Flags Theme Parks.

This program is for students in kindergarten through sixth grade and is designed to encourage students to read. If the students complete six hours of recreational reading they are rewarded with a free admission ticket to participating Six Flags Theme Parks. The students can read books from home. Comic books and newspapers can be read too. Classroom reading does not count towards their six hours of reading.

The students hand in a list of books they have read with their parent’s initial on it verifying they have read the books.

This program began in mid December and ends on February 26th.

Good luck Stafford students!
