Rochelle Hellner’s fourth grade class at Stafford Elementary just completed reading the novel, Indian in the Cupboard.

The fourth graders were asked to do a project at home. This project was to make a long house, a teepee, a mobile or a diorama which would include indians, a horse, dirt and rocks, etc.

“All of the students did very well. We kept four of the best ones. The students had six weeks to complete and turn in their projects, they all did great,” explained Mrs. Hellner.

The four projects that were kept in the classroom belonged to: Michael Hughes – a long house, Sarah Levy and Samantha Tweet – made a teepee and Jasmine Hernandez – made a long house cabin.

A job well done. Keep up the good work Stafford Elementary!
