Where did that car go?
Yesterday, January 30th, mid-morning, traffic was diverted off south bound I-35. A jackknifed semi was the cause of the backed up trail of cars and trucks.
Mark Cappezzuto, driver of the semi, was passing a car when a small car pulling a trailer started coming over into his lane. Cappezzuto swerved to get out of the way and hit the concrete barrier. The small car pulling the trailer never stopped, it just kept on going down the highway.
Milford Police chief, Carlos Phoenix said, “Ice was not involved, there was no ice on the highway,” he added “there were no injuries.”
The highway was cleared and up and running in less than an hour.
