Stafford Elementary Celebrating the 100th day of School
At Stafford Elementary the second graders were celebrating the 100th day of school. On the 100th day of school the second graders all do special activities. One of the special activities this year included the students bringing one hundred items of the same thing to school. They are asked to write a paper describing what they have brought and everyone has to guess what the items are.
There were so many wonderful papers and items that were hanging in the Stafford Elementary hallways, such as: 100 pennies, 100 dog biscuits, 100 fruit loops and many others. One stood out though, this one was done by Michael Russell in Mrs. Jacinto’s class. Michael compiled 100 fingerprints from different family members.
“Michael’s project was the most unique we have had so far. All the second grade teachers and anyone that saw his project were very impressed. We are all very proud of all the students for all the wonderful projects they turned in,” bragged Paula Mandrell (Second grade teacher.
Good job Stafford second graders!
