A sincere thanks from Tina and Marty Haight
On behalf of our son, Dylan Haight, we wish to express our sincere thanks to the Italy EMS paramedics and all the emergency responders who took such good care of Dylan after his fall during basketball practice on Thursday.
Words really cannot convey the gratitude we have for everyone’s quick actions and kindness. We appreciated the efforts by IHS Coaches and Faculty to comfort Dylan and keep him from further harm.
We feel blessed to be living in such a caring community and appreciate the emails, text messages and phone calls concerning Dylan. We apologize if we cannot respond to them all but we are thankful to receive your love and support.
We would like to give a special thanks to Michael Chambers and Donald Chambers for their professionalism and kindness.
Dylan suffered a broken right hip and broke his right arm in two places. His surgery lasted 4 hours but he is expected to come home soon. Dylan will be required to have 3 months of bed rest, but knowing our son, he’ll be more concerned about his family and friends than himself.
Dylan is a great kid who loves to play sports. We have no doubts he’ll deal with this setback like a champ and rejoin his teammates very soon.
We appreciate everyone keeping Dylan in their thoughts and prayers.
Tina & Marty Haight
