Friday the 13th wasn’t so bad. In fact, not disastrous at all. There was lots of toe tapping in the school cafeteria because the Junior class hosted a Valentine’s dance for the 7th, 8th and 9th grade classes.

Kelli Strickland, dance coordinator, expected to make approximately $400, along with Vale-grams and carnation sales. Other fundraisers planed for the year includes St. Patrickgrams and Easter Egg delivery. “The money we are raising is going to Junior/Senior prom,” Strickland explained. Along with a 15 member prom committee and sponsor, Eric Wilson, the group plans to be dancing at the Waxahachie Civic Center on May 2.
