Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m., Trinity Mission of Italy was alive with up-beat music provided by Bobbie and Sue Sparks. The residents were swaying to the music and some of them were even singing right along.

Bobbie and Sue Sparks are two sisters that travel to nursing homes all over the state of Texas. Their mission is to bring joy, music and fun into the lives of the residents.

Suzanne Bullard is a restorative aide for Trinity Mission. She explained, “We work with residents after they are finished with their therapy. We keep them motivated by doing group therapy to keep them physically well. Bobbie and Sue’s entertainment helps to keep their spirits up and that is a therapy in itself. Bobbie and Sue always come out and sing, they cheer up the residents and they love it when these ladies come.”

Trinity Mission once again working at putting their residents first.
