Yearling Horse Clinic
Due to inclement weather and a soggy arena, the Yearling Clinic at the Flying Dollar Ranch, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, March 14, has been rescheduled to Thursday, March 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Flying Dollar Ranch in Italy will be hosting a “Yearling Clinic” for one year old horses and their owners on Saturday, March 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $35 per horse. Julie Hinz, a certified riding instructor and president of Ellis County Equine Association, will instruct the clinic.
Topics will include how to put basic ground manners on your equine baby, how to teach and show your yearling in halter, yearling trail, and lunge line events.
This is a great opportunity to take yearlings on a “field trip” and give them exposure to new environments as well as practice around other yearlings prior to show season.
For more information or to RSVP for the event, please call Julie at 972-483-7774 or log onto www.flyingdollarranch.com.
